Parkman – Ronald Welts Farrar, 86, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 22, 2024. He was born January 24, 1938, in Guilford, the son of Chester and Aldine (Welts) Farrar. Ron grew up in East Dover and graduated from Foxcroft Academy, Class of 1957. He spent several years in the Army Reserves, had his pilot's license, and was half owner of a small plane. Ron worked in the office at Guilford Industries and then later Dexter Shoe. He built two houses and a large barn in Parkman where he lived with his wife, Patricia Titus of Dexter. Ron attended Living Word A/G in Dover-Foxcroft for many years.
In addition to his wife, Patricia, Ron is survived by his children, Delia Kupferer of Florida, Matthew of Michigan, and Jonathan of Parkman; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, whom he loved dearly; and three nieces. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Bob; and nephew, Dale Farrar.
Ron was buried on his homeplace in Parkman where there will be a gathering of friends in the fall. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.

So sad to hear of Ronnie's passing. I have sweet memories of him when I was a young girl, staying at Gram's in East Dover. Ronnie's grandmother, Mammie, was my beloved great grandmother. Wonderful to think back on those days, when we were younger. Sending caring thoughts and love to Pat, and family. Sheryll Roberts Carey
