Ronald Elliott Fletcher, 76, of Franklin, passed away on December 11, 2024 at Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis. He was born on December 24, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana to James and Virginia (Elliott) Fletcher. He married Mary Lynn (Shannon) Fletcher on May 9, 1970. She lovingly survives. He is also survived by daughter, Hope Marie Thompson (Daniel A. Thompson). Ron was preceded in passing by his parents; and his brothers, James "Doug" Fletcher and Robert "Bob" Fletcher. He was a graduate of Broad Ripple High School and attended I.U.P.U.I. Ron was employed in refrigeration at Elliott Williams Company where he worked for many years. Ron had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh through pranks and jokes. He loved movies and baking sweet treats. Ron enjoyed keeping up with the stock market. A celebration of Ron's life will be held on Thursday, December 19th at 12:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with Visitation on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.
