Ronald E. Gerhart

Ronald E. Gerhart, 75, of Breinigsville, formerly of Emmaus, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at The Lutheran Home at Topton. He and his wife, Donna L. (Kohl) Gerhart would have celebrated 25 years of marriage on April 2. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Oliver and Elsie (Schaller) Gerhart. Ron was a custodian for 20 years in the East Penn School District, working primarily at the Willow Lane building, until retiring in 2015. He previously was employed at Kraft Foods and was a graduate of Dieruff High School, Class of 1966. Ron enjoyed trap shooting at Ontelaunee Rod & Gun Club and was an avid bowler earlier in his life.

Survivors: Wife; Daughter, Christine M. Westerman and her husband, Chad; and Grandson, Landry L. Westerman. He was preceded in death by Brothers, Charles and Thomas Gerhart.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 501 Chestnut Street, Emmaus. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the church. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
