Ronald Charles Gibson
1936 – 2021
Our beloved father and grandfather, Ronald Charles Gibson, returned to his Heavenly Home on December 29, 2021 and was reunited with his eternal companion Nancy.
Ronald was born April 1, 1936 in Ogden, Utah to Fay Elizabeth Carver and Charles Blair Gibson. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ronald married Nancy Sorensen in the Logan Temple on November 7, 1957.
He enjoyed horses, hunting, fishing, farming and his chickens.
He is survived by his children Janice (Don) Carter, Joyce (Kevin) Ludlow, Lisa (Ronnie) Reeder, Kenneth C. (Heidi) Gibson, and Paul (Danielle) Gibson; brothers Dean, Richard and Dave Gibson and sister Debbie Ortega; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 64 years Nancy; brother Brent and sister Linda Barnes.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Auberge and Applegate Hospice for their care of Dad over the last several months.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the West Weber 1st Ward, 4100 W 900 So. A viewing will be held Monday, January 3rd from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT and at the church prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment, West Weber Cemetery.
Ronald's service will live streamed on his obituary page at Myers website www.myers-mortuary.com To watch scroll to the bottom of the obituary page, service will remain on his obituary page indefinitely so you may watch at a later date.

Every time I went to the Gibsons, Ron was always joking about something. I so loved him and Nancy. Tough times for the family but they are happily together ever after now. Love to everyone.
