Ronald Gildersleeve Obituary

Born on November 7, 1940 in Monroe, Michigan, he was the son of Cornelius and Eleanor (Laura) Gildersleeve.
He was employed with Firestone for 26 years, and later Trenton Forging for 11 years, until retiring in 2007.
Ronald was a member of Flat Rock Elks. He enjoyed racing, hunting, antique and classic cars, and especially eating cupcakes. He was known for helping his son on construction sites, and more than anything, he loved his grandkids.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his daughter, Joan Marie (Daniel) Sennholtz, son, Michael R. (Ashley) Gildersleeve, grandchildren, Andrew Sennholtz, Sarah Sennholtz, sister, Donna (Robert) Winter.
Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Burial will be in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Newport, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the St. Roch Catholic Church.
