Ronald Ford Haslam
Born May 26, 1967 in Murray Utah to Vallory FD Haslam and Karleen Clare Richins Haslam in Murray Utah; twin brother to Richard Paul Haslam (deceased in 1984). He is survived by older sister Valeen Haslam. Uncles, Aunts and many cousins. Preceded in death by parents and twin brother Richard Paul Haslam
Ronny grew up in South Salt Lake. He went to Madison Elementary School, Central Jr High School and Granite High School Class of 1985. He lived with his mother until her passing in 2020. He moved from the family home into a condo that he purchased. While living on his own he learned how to cook awesome meals often sharing them with his sister.
Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, grew up in Kimball Ward in the South Salt Lake Stake. He loved scouting and his Scout Leaders.
He loved to fish. Growing up he went on many camping trips to Flaming Gorge with close friends The Malmborg's. Fishing at East Canyon, Lost Creek and Strawberry Reservoir (his favorite place to go). After his heart attack in 2005 he would fish closer to home at Willow Pond Park, he would go almost every day off. Always carried a fishing pole, tackle box and stool in his truck.
He worked at Smiths Market Place for over 30 years in the electronics department.
As a family we often had back yard BBQ's with family and friends playing badminton and croquet. Riding bikes and playing with neighborhood friends.
Best friend Sean Workman until his passing. He really missed him. He will be greatly missed by his sister and her dog Harley whom he loved very much, and cat Eva. They both loved him and smothered him with hugs and licks every time he visited. His family, and friends will miss him.
Funeral Services will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 4760 S State Street, Murray Utah on April 3, 2025 at 11:00 am with a viewing from 10:00 - 10:45 am. Any and all friends are invited to pay your respects. His sister really appreciates all the support she has received during this very difficult time. He will be buried at Elysian Burial Gardens in Millcreek, Utah 1075 E 4580 S
