Ronald Hoffman Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 3, 2025.
FORT WORTH - Ronald A. Hoffman, a compassionate friend to all, loving husband, brother, father, uncle, and grandfather, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 23, 2025, at the age of 83.
Ronald Allen Hoffman was born March 14, 1941, to Glen and Betty Hoffman in Monroe, Michigan. He attended High School in Flat rock, Michigan and joined the U.S. Navy in 1958.
After being employed by several companies in the automobile industry and car hauling business, he became a McDonald's franchisee in 1979. His first restaurant was in Bluffton, Indiana. He relocated his family and several of his valued employees to Fort Worth, Texas, opening restaurants in Benbrook and Fort Worth.
In September of 1995, Ron married the love of his life, June Dunaway, in Maui, Hawaii. They built a life together full of laughter and unwavering love and support. Ron and June eventually owned five franchises on the southwest side of Fort Worth.
Ron gave back to his community by serving as chairman of the Benbrook Chamber of Commerce, The Benbrook Civil Service Commission and on several bank Boards and committees.
Ron and June retired from McDonald's in December of 2015, selling their restaurants and embarking on a life of travel and puppy dogs... "lots" of puppy dogs.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Robert; and his granddaughter, Heather Patton.
He is survived by his beloved wife, June; his brother, Ray (Cindy); his sister, Becky (Bob); his three children, Todd (Aysha), Rhonda, and Scott (Loura); and his 10 grandchildren, Sarah Pace (Gray), Dillan Hoffman (Jacelyn), Shauna Calvert (Chris), Ryan Hoffman (Jessica), Brandon Hoffman, Shelby Crane (Michael), Preston Hoffman (Brittany), Justin Lapresta (Lacey), and Sophia Hoffman. He is also survived by his eleven great-grandchildren, Conner, Brandon, Rhylee, Emma, Addison, Grayson, Maddox, Presley, Landrie Jaye, Brave, and Nikolai; and finally, his dear pups, Maggie and Chloe.
June would like to express her special thanks to grandchildren, Ryan and Jessica Hoffman, for all their love and support over the last few difficult months.

It saddens me today to read about Ron. Even though it's been years since I have seen him, Ron was a man of honor and respect. I am thankful to read Ron was a born again Christian and today with Jesus.

I will be praying for the family during this difficult time. I will leave a thought to always remember, when Ron left this earth, he was immediately in the arms of Jesus. Remember when I Christian passes away, it's not Good Bye Forever but only to say we will see you soon !!
