Ronald Lemke

Ronald Lemke of Rockford, formerly Arlington Heights, was born November 23, 1943, in Chicago, to Edwin R. and Laura E. (Burmeister) Lemke. He entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Wesley Willows in Rockford.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Sherry E. (Dietz) Lemke, whom he married on July 31, 1965 in Northbrookm Illinois; his children, Lorra (Lawrence) Prabhakar, Peter Lemke, and Kirra (Vincent Horovitz) Denten; grandchildren, Nicholas (Sofia) Prabhakar, Hannah Prabhakar, Sophie Prabhakar, Lily (Nathan Dammann) Prabhakar, Kaz Denten, Joshua Denten, Koji Lemke, Noah Denten, and Kaia Lemke; sisters-in-law, Virginia (Wallace) Hewitt and Charlotte Lemke; and brother-in-law, Robin (Denise Dupré) Dietz.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Roger Lemke.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 10, at First Free Church, 2223 N. Mulford Rd., Rockford, Illinois, from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Pastor Chuck Cervenka. Burial will be on Tuesday, at 11:30 AM at Oak Hill Cemetery, 1101 Cemetery Rd., Lake Geneva, WI.
