Obituary
Ronald Bruce Love (Ron/Pops) of Northglenn passed away on October 8, 2022 at the age of 85. He died peacefully in his home. Born on October 2, 1937 in Chicago Illinois, he was the son of George and Mary Love. Ron has shared the last 40 years with his Love, June Hood. He is the Father of Karen, Julie and Byron – with Karen passing away three month prior. He is the proud Grandpa of Logan, Larsen, McKenna, Autumn, Molly, Sam, Lace, Tell, and Tennille. And he has 10 wonderful great-grandchildren.
Ron studied at the University of Illinois before joining the Air Force and was stationed in Bitburg Germany for five years. After serving his AF commitment, he moved to Denver Colorado in 1966 where he remained for the rest of his life. Though he had an entrepreneurial spirit, Ron lived the life of a 'company-man' and first worked at Miller Stockman for a period of time before becoming a certified exterminator for Terminix. Eventually, he was lured away by Dean Holm and spent over 20 years with American Datapath before officially retiring.
Besides being with family, Ron enjoyed the great outdoors. He spent countless hours fly-fishing the many streams & rivers in Colorado. He loved being on the golf course as well as going for long drives on the scenic highways & all the 'backroads'. Ron traveled the world to include most of Europe, Russia, Egypt and Canada. Finally, he and June spent many hours enjoying musicals, plays, and barbershop quartets.
A Memorial Service to honor Ron will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 11:00am at Horan & McConaty, 9998 Grant St. Thornton, CO 80229.

June: With some minor gaps in time, Ron was a close friend since back at VGHS in 1954. The great memories of the good times we had together are too many to mention. We'd have a break and then he would find me again and the good times would start all over. He was one of a kind, a great friend and good person and we will really miss him.
