Ronald M Macon

Ronald M. Macon, 91, of Vineland passed away on February 6, 2023 at AtlanticCare Medical Center in Galloway, NJ. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to the late William and Gladys Macon. He and his family moved to Vineland where he graduated from Vineland High School. Ronald went on to University of Pennsylvania where he received his degree as a Certified Life Underwriter.
Ronald was the President of Underwriters Association of Cumberland/Salem County in 1975; and also served in 1991 as Chairman for the Newcomb Foundation. He took great enjoyment to his ongoing years of service to the community by participating on the YMCA Endowment Community; volunteering and serving as a board member for Tiny Tim and also an active member of the Jaycees. Ron was a fan of the arts and participated in a few performances.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judith (Krause) Macon; son & daughter-in-law, Eric & Cheryl Macon; son, Jordan Macon. He was the proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Kara Rehm (Brian), Ashley Litchendorf (Hank), Dave Macon and Joseph Trembly (Nikki); and his four great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Teddy Rehm, Lydia and Miriam Litchendorf.
Services and burial in Alliance Cemetery were private.
