Ronald Madsen

Ronald D. Madsen passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025, leaving behind his unwavering love for his family. Ron was born on October 27, 1950, in American Fork, Utah, the third child of Roland Wayne Madsen, Jr. and Vernise Ohran Madsen.
Ron was lovingly devoted to his angel wife Zirka. He found great joy in his beautifully detailed and fine-tuned Gold Wing motorcycles. Ron was an expert motorcycle mechanic and also did beautiful detailing.
Ron and Zirka enjoyed their motorcycle travels on the twisty roads from coast to coast and border to border!
Ron had an insatiable "need for speed" therefore he insisted on having a wind-resistant hairdo. He was a kind man and quick to help others. Ron enjoyed the time he spent with his sons and all his family. Ron is remembered for his fun-loving humor and funny Uncle Jokes. He loved delicious Snickerdoodle cookies and he cherished his beloved puppies: Kiwi, Bear (deceased) and his "baby girl" Molly.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Zirka Madsen, his children Travis (LaDonna), Troy (Kami), Todd, and Tony (Jennifer), step children Adrianna (Michael), Larysa and AJ (Marcy), 14 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, his mother, Vernise, brothers and sisters Teri (LeRoy) Maughan, Craig (Toddy) Madsen, Diane (Dave) Urry, Linda (Scott) Phillips, and Bruce (Jill) Madsen and many nieces and nephews.
Ron is preceded in death by his father, Roland and Renee' Jackson, his first wife and mother of his 4 sons.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the South Jordan City Cemetery.
