OFIARA, Ronald - Age 81, of Fenton, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024. Cremation has taken place, and no services will be held. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Ron was born October 5, 1942 in Pontiac, the son of Bernard Albert and Genevieve Alice (Weatherholt) Ofiara. He was a 1960 graduate of Avondale High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Ron received an Associates Degree from Pontiac Business School and retired as a Computer Analyst for Oakland County Information Technology. He resided in Fenton for the past 19 years after returning to Michigan from Pawleys Island, South Carolina. Ron enjoyed family, golf, antiques, cooking, reading, hockey and board games.
Surviving are: his wife, Nancy; 6 adult children, their spouses and families consisting of 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, his 4 siblings, brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
