Ronald Dale Paschall (69) passed away peacefully on November 23, 2023, under the caring hands and hearts of The Veterans Hospital Community Living Center's dedicated Team.
Ron was born in Highland Park, Michigan in 1953. Eager to heed his inner call to service, he joined the US Marine Corp at age 17. Ron loved the Corp and served with honor and distinction during his career as a Marine. He particularly loved working with military animals within the Corp, especially guard dogs and horses in the color guard. After 20 years of service, Ron retired as a Gunnery Sargent then continued his drive to serve others with the San Bernardino County Sheriff, as well as serving as honor guard for his fallen Marine Corp brothers.
Ron had a passion for photography, capturing images of notable figures and towns of the Wild West. His love of Wester lore led him to a particular fascination with the life and history of Wyatt Earp and the Earp brothers. Ron's love of all things Western led him to start a business as a mobile country music DJ, bringing joy to others through country music and line dancing- he will be missed.
Ron is survived by his devoted Love, Kathy Hughes; his Daughter Veronica Jones (Matt), Son Sean Paschall (Vanessa Barcenas), Mother Wilma Arvine Paschall and Sister Cheryl Paschall Geer (Jim), 6 grandchildren: Natalie Schwoebel (Brent), Gregory Jones, Kaitlyn Jones, Zoe Gamboa, Matthew and Landon Paschall, Nephew Aaron Geer (Ashley), and Niece Renee Geer soon to be Jackson (Jake).
