It's with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ronald Paul Piotrowski of Grand Rapids; a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and a man whose strength and work ethic were the backbone of his family. He passed away on August 5, 2025 at the age of 61 surrounded by everyone who loved him most.
He worked tirelessly throughout his life; always putting the needs of others above his own. Beyond that, Ron had an even bigger heart. His greatest joy was being surrounded by his children and grandchildren - sharing stories and offering advice. He was an avid outdoorsman and master craftsman, who took much joy in teaching new skills and creating memories that will last for generations.
Though he is no longer with us, his spirit live on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the lessons he passed down, and the strength he instilled in all who knew him. He was a good man, a provider, a protector, and the foundation of this family.
Preceded in death by his Mother Mary, Father Paul, Grandparents Jean and Leonard, best friend Joe, and other Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Tracey, his children Nichole (Jim) Miller, Sara (Thomas) Cain, Shannon (Chris) Janito, Sean (Timery) Minch, and Jennifer Piotrowski. His grandchildren Drake, Alyson, Lauren, Layden, Reid, Alanna, Aiden and Gracie. He also leaves behind countless friends and extended family members.
