Ronald "Ron" Prisby, Jr., a cherished husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, in Mint Hill, North Carolina. Born on July 14, 1967, in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Ron's life was marked by his generosity, humor, and kindness.

Ron graduated from Lake View High School and later earned a degree from Wayne State University. His professional journey led him to a successful 13-year career as a Food Broker with SellEthics in Matthews, North Carolina. Ron's dedication to his work was evident in the strong relationships he built with clients and colleagues alike.

On June 5, 2004, Ron married the love of his life, Paula, and together they built a beautiful family. He was a devoted father to his two daughters, Katlyn and Kara. His role as a grandfather to Parker and Eden was one he cherished deeply. Ron's love for his family was the cornerstone of his life, and he relished in the joy of family gatherings.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Paula Prisby; his daughters, Katlyn Martin and her husband Mac, and Kara Prisby; his grandchildren, Parker and Eden Martin; his mother, Nancy Prisby; his brothers, Mark Prisby and his wife Kimberly, and Eric Prisby and his wife Kelly; his nephew, Tyler Prisby; his niece, Jordan Prisby; and a multitude of extended family members and friends who felt his warmth and generosity throughout his life.

Preceding him in death was his father, Ronald Prisby, Sr., whose memory Ron held dear to his heart.

Throughout his life, Ron resided in various parts of the United States but spent the majority of his time in Michigan and North Carolina. His passions included hunting, fishing, and playing hockey. He was also an avid gun collector. Ron's love for music was shared with his daughter Kara, with whom he enjoyed attending concerts.

Ron's favorite times were those spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. His quick wit and desire to make others laugh were legendary. A natural prankster, he brought joy and laughter to every occasion. Ron was a very genuine and generous man, often described as the type who would give you the shirt off his back.

As a mentor, Ron touched the lives of many, offering guidance and support to those around him. His faith was an integral part of his life; he was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and lived his life as a testament to his Christian values.

Ronald Prisby, Jr. will be remembered as a man who lived his life with a generous spirit, a kind heart, and an unmatched sense of humor. He left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew him, and his legacy of love and laughter will continue to resonate with his family and friends. Ron's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of joy, compassion, and unwavering faith. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those he left behind.
