Ronald Riddle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Taylor Family Funeral Home - Pinellas Park on Jan. 28, 2026.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald J. Riddle on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

He was born in Miami, Florida, and spent most of his adult life in St. Petersburg, Florida. A lifelong Floridian, he had a deep love for the state and was a passionate collector of pre-Disney Florida memorabilia, literature, tourist brochures, and artifacts. He was also a talented photographer who enjoyed capturing Florida's natural beauty, as well as scenes from his many travels throughout the United States and Europe.

He loved music-especially live music-and was a familiar face on the pickleball courts around St. Pete. A devoted Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, he had been a season ticket holder since the team's second season. Each year, when asked who would win the Super Bowl, his answer never changed: the Bucs (go Bucs!).

Ron had a large and close-knit circle of friends, many of whom he had known for most of his life. More than anything, he adored his niece and nephew, Jennifer and Nick. Even though they lived north of Atlanta for 26 years, He never missed a Christmas morning with them and found countless opportunities to spend time together throughout the year.

Though he never married, Ronald leaves behind his loving sister, Denise Pacelli; his brother-in-law, Jim Pacelli; and his niece and nephew, Jennifer and Nicholas Pacelli.

Ronald will be deeply missed by all who had the good fortune to know and love him. May he rest in peace.

A celebration of Ronald's life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Taylor Family Funeral Home, 5300 Park Blvd., Pinellas Park, Florida.
