Ron was a farmer who spent his years cultivating crops and raising livestock. He was known for his passion for wildlife and joy of hunting that he shared with his brothers, friends, nephews, and nieces.
Ron is survived by his wife Sandy, brother Anthony Rumer, nieces and nephews Stacia Rumer, Andrew Rumer, Eric Rumer, Ken Rumer, Kerry Havens, Michael Rumer, La Donna Rumer, Patty Kimmie, Debbie Skoglund and many other loving family and friends who will continue to cherish his memory. He was a devoted uncle, showing support at birthdays, graduations, and weddings. His family shares fond memories of Rockies games, hours of pinochle, and fun antics on the farm.
A memorial service to honor Ron's life will be held at 10:30 am on June 7, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Church in Oshkosh, NE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Catholic Church.
