Ronald W. Brackett, age 62, of Burlington, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Born on January 29, 1963, in Covington, Kentucky, he was the cherished son of Rollan and Ruby Brackett (nee Freeman).
Ronald is reunited in eternal rest with his father, Rollan, his mother, Ruby, and his beloved sisters, Peggy Brackett and Mary Lainhart. He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Penny Brackett (nee Steffen), as well as his brothers, Rollan (Terri) Brackett and Lonnie (Mary) Brackett, and his sisters, Ruby Ranes, Dianne (Dean) Portwood, and Cinda (Jack) Louden. Ronald leaves behind a host of family members and friends who hold his memory dear.
A man of many passions, Ronald found joy in fishing and cherished his garage, which he affectionately referred to as his “home away from home.” He had an appreciation for old things and enjoyed working with his hands. Ronald delighted in the simple pleasures of mowing the grass on his zero-turn mower, while also enjoying television shows featuring Jimmy Swaggart and NASCAR. Above all, he had a special bond with his beloved cat, Autumn.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ronald’s life during the funeral ceremony at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, preceded by a visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The service will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, located at 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. Ronnie will be laid to rest at Beech Grove Holiness Cemetery following his services.
In honor of Ronald’s memory, we encourage those who knew him to share their memories and messages for his family in the guest book below. Ronald will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
