Obituary of Ronald T. Schultz

Ronald T. "Ron" Schultz, age 71, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on August 10, 2025, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Upper Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Herbert and Dorothy White Schultz. Ron had resided in Wilmington for the past 29 years, previously living in Swarthmore, PA. He worked for 35 years for Kimberly-Clark (formerly Scott Paper) where he served as the union vice president for one term before retiring. A sports enthusiast, Ron especially loved golf and worked at Rock Manor Country Club following his retirement. He also enjoyed the outdoors and took great pride in his yard work. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings: Randy Schultz, Richard Schultz, and Susan Schultz. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Patti Prettyman Schultz; his daughter, Cathy (George) Redden; two brothers, Robert and Russell Schultz; and two grandchildren, Madison and George. A viewing for Ron will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
