Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Louis Taylor, Jr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Libuse Czech Cemetery, Deville, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mr. Taylor, 59, of Deville, entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA.
Ronald lived a troubled life, yet in his younger years found peace in the outdoors. Fishing and hunting brought him much happiness. He was a skilled mechanic, an excellent carpenter, cabinet maker, and electrician. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Louis Taylor, Sr. and Irene Alice Taylor.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include two sisters, Ronda Davis of Deville, and Resenda Wilson of Deville; three nephews, Cody Davis of Deville, Michael Wilson of Deville, and Jacob Wilson of Jennings; and three nieces, Laura Williamson of Deville, Jessika Honeycutt of Shreveport, and Amber Allen of Pineville.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Michael Wilson, Kevin Ponthieux, Jeff Miles, Bobby Miles, Jeremiah Bonton, and Louis Norman. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Campbell, Carl Cripps, Danny Williamson, Justin Brown, Martel Bailey, Sarah Jester, and Apryl Schroeder.
