Ronald William Timmering, 83, died Sunday, March 16, 2025.
He was born November 13, 1941, son of William and Bernice Maupin Timmering. Ron was a retired bookkeeper for Kister Lumber Company and former co-owner of Kitty's Plants. He was a graduate of Eastern High School, served in the Army Reserves, coached Fern Creek Little League for many years and attended Middletown First Baptist Church.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bernice Timmering; and his brother, Gary Timmering. Survivors include his wife, Judy Roederer Timmering; children, Shawn Timmering (Beverly) and Laura Emly (Chris); and grandchildren, Anthony, Douglas and Merideth Timmering.
His funeral is 12pm Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is 3-7pm Monday, March 24, 2025.
