Ronald Waldrop Obituary
Ronald Joseph Waldrop, Sr., 75 of Houston, TX, died at his home on May 16, 2024.
He was born in Akron, OH in 1948 to Robert Murray Waldrop and Lillian Louise Cummings Waldrop. Ron attended Coventry High School before completing his Associates Degree in Business from the University of Akron. He volunteered for service in the US Army serving one tour in Vietnam (69-70). Upon being honorably discharged from the service, he began his career in sales with the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Industrial Products Division.
Ron was preceded in death by his wife Linda Joan Waldrop (Lopeman), his mother and father, his brother Allen Wayne Waldrop and is survived by his brother Robert Cummings Waldrop (Treva), eldest son Ronald Joseph Waldrop Jr. (Samantha), grandchildren Alexa Lauren Waldrop, Aidan Joseph Waldrop, Christian Alexander Waldrop, Reagan William Waldrop, youngest son John Robert Waldrop (Lisa), grandchildren Landon Robert Waldrop and Jocelyn Michelle Waldrop.
Chapel service is at 10 A.M. on June 8, 2024 at Klein Memorial Park, 9714 FM 2920 Tomball, TX. Donations to Tunnels to Towers Foundation or the Wounded Warriors Project would be greatly appreciated.
