Ronald Walker Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Greene Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel on Feb. 2, 2026.
Ronald "Wayne" Walker was born to Jerry and Ida Walker in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was a retired truck driver with Frito-Lay and took great pride in his work. Wayne loved spending time at the beach with his wife and cherished his family dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Walker.

Wayne is survived by his mother, Mary Ida Walker; his beloved wife of nine years, Brenda Walker, whom he loved with every ounce of his being; and his children, Jennifer Needham (Rob), Shannon Walker (Richard), and Amanda Shaw (Donovon). He was the best dad a child could ask for and leaves behind countless memories for his children to cherish.

He is also survived by his children, Brandy Mullinax (Brian), Tanner Mullinax (Haylee), Selena Mullinax (Colby), and Summer Mullinax.

Wayne was a loving grandfather to Tyler Bingham, Austin Bingham, Everleigh Santiago, McKenna Mullinax, Canton Muir, Annie Mullinax, and Allie Mullinax.

In addition, he leaves behind his sister, Charlotte Walker; his special family members, Iveth (Carlos) and Lindsey; his brothers, Sonny Walker (Pam) and Lin Walker (Melissa); as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 1 PM Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina. A service will follow in the chapel at 2 PM with Reverend Jerry Devinney officiating. Burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road, immediately following the service.
