Services are 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 5, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Chippianock Cemetery, Rock Island.
Ronald White was born on September 5, 1948, in Rock Island, Illinois, to Grady and Dora (Johnson) White Sr.
He was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved cheering on his favorite football and basketball teams, and he never passed up a good western or a classic TV show. A tidy space and a bowl of macaroni and cheese were all he needed to feel content. Otherwise, you could find him listening to music, drinking Miller Light or E&J. He took great pride in his grandkids and spending time with them.
Ronald is survived by his children, Monica White, Angell Jackson, and Ronald White Jr.; grandchildren, LaMar McGhee, Don White Jr., Donneshia Coleman, Kiara White, and Jordan Harris; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and siblings, Dona Blakney, Grady White Jr., Dora Manley, and George Manley Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, including his twin, Donald White Sr.
A special thank you to the friends and family who were by his side throughout his time of need.
