Ronald Larry Williams, 82, of North Pekin Illinois, died on September 27, 2025 at his residence, surrounded by his family. Born in Spring Creek Missouri on March 25, 1943 to the late Berl and Ella Fox Williams, he married Eldonna Jean Hardin on June 3, 1967 at Gospel Hill Church in Pottersville Missouri. She survives.
Also surviving are his five children, Monte (Brenda) of Pekin, Nashina Fisher of Pekin, Anthony of North Pekin, James of Pekin, and Stormie of North Pekin; sisters, Sandra Haak of Missouri, Donna Rumph of Tennessee; 19 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two more on the way.
Ronnie worked at Caterpillar, starting in 1967, working many different positions over his thirty years. Ronnie loved working with his hands on building or renovating homes, helping all his children with their homes over the years. He also had large gardens, bringing vegetables home to share with family and friends. He taught his children and grandchildren how to hunt and fish, so that they could also provide for their loved ones. Ronnie was also a self taught taxidermist, at one time he even taxidermied the famous Jackalope.
Cremation rites have been accorded and memorial service will be held at The Missionary Church of North Pekin on Saturday October 4, 2025 at 1 PM. Memorials can be made to the church. Cards can be sent from and condolences left at illinicremation.com.
