Ronald C. Wisner, 87, passed away on October 8, 2025 at St. Joseph's Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Audrey (Mullis) Wisner. They married in 1970 and shared 55 years of love, laughter and wonderful memories.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Roland and Florence (Weaver). Ron was a skilled laborer working in construction for over 30 years. He was proud to be recognized for his 50 year membership in the Laborers' International Union of North America. A true outdoorsman Ron was a skilled fisherman and avid birdwatcher. He could often be found fishing at Lake Ontelaunee or Blue Marsh and always had his binoculars in tow. He also enjoyed taking trips to Delaware to fish off the rocks at Indian River Inlet or fish from a charter boat. Ron loved spending time with his family and enjoyed reminiscing about the times they spent together on cruises and other vacations.
In addition to his wife, Audrey, those cherishing Ron's memory include his children, Jennifer McCarty (Timothy) and John Wisner (Lisa); his surviving siblings: Carol Quinn, Patricia Orth, Susan Synder, and Fred Wisner; as well as his grandchildren: Zachary, Jacob, Cole, Gavin, and Tyler.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611.
