It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Ronald “Turkey” Ziemba, aged 76, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Ronald was proceeded in death by his beloved wife, Carol, and his parents, Joe Ziemba, Tillie and Wally Spelman. We take great comfort in knowing that he is reunited with the love of his life after 15 years.
Ronald’s memory will be forever cherished by his sister, Patricia Smith and her husband Bill of Charlotte, NC; brother Joe Ziemba and his wife Amy of Neenah, WI; and his loving children, Michelle Ziemba of San Diego, CA; Kelly Klopotek and her husband Chris, along with grandchildren Katarina and Kyle of Maple Grove, MN; and Keith Ziemba and wife Miranda, and grandchildren Ty and Liv of Belleville, WI.
Born into a family deeply rooted in agriculture, Ronald spent his childhood and early adulthood immersed in the family’s turkey farm and feed mill business. His passion for the outdoors was evident in his love for showing and raising Arabian horses. After moving on from the family business, Ronald embarked on a career as a truck drive with Wausau Tile, from which he retired after many years of dedicated service.
Ronald’s life was defined by his love for his family and friends. He cherished the moments spent on hunting and fishing trips with his buddies, and most profoundly, those fishing excursions with his children and grandchildren. His presence brought joy and laughter to every gathering, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Ronald’s departure leaves a void in the hearts of many. His spirit of adventure, warm smile, and kind heart will be greatly missed but never forgotten. We find comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on through the lives of those he touched.
