Rondal E. Carter, 81, of Colona passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Genesis Medical Center East Campus in Davenport.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona with visitation 1 hour prior to service time. Memorials may be made to the family.
Rondal was born May 9, 1943 in Beaumont, KY the son of Earnest and Nina Garmon Carter. He served in the Army during the Vietnam Era. Rondal married Kathryn Barr December 6, 1968 in East Moline. She passed away November 13, 2008. Rondal enjoyed camping, fishing, and working on cars.
Survivors include his children Pamela Rogers, Scott Carter, and Travis Yungen; grandchildren Jessica, Amanda, Amber, Lyndsey, and Jennifer; great grandchildren Jadyn, Anastasia, Badyn, and Nikolai; siblings Faye Martin, Nena Swanson, and Connie Ellard.
Rondal was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
