Cotton was born on March 18, 1960, in San Diego, California to Nora L. (Pegram) Dike Elliott and the late John C. Dike. He worked as an arborist; enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, trapping, fishing, camping, canoeing, and riding his motorcycles.
Surviving Cotton are his wife of almost forty years, Melissa (Henderson) Dike; daughters, Ashley (Jeremy) Thompson and Hannah Cater; mother, Nora Elliott; stepson, Jeremy Almon; brother, John (Denise) Dike and five grandchildren, Jaycee, Carter, Kaylee, Cody, and Dillinger.
There will be a celebration of Ronie's life held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 12:00 until 4:00 PM at Fair Haven Christ Fellowship in Cynthiana. Burial will be held at Maumee Cemetery in Owensville.
