He served his country in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Glen O. Blevins and Virginia Stump; a sister, Carrie "Alice" Branham; and a brother, Glen E. Blevins, Jr.
He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Blevins of Mississippi and LaCresha Blevins of Kentucky; a son, Jeremy Blevins of North Carolina; grandchildren, David Johnston and Allison Johnston; sisters, Elizabeth "Libby" Bowens and Glenda "Joyce" Tillis; a brother, Robert Savage; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
