With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ronnie Allison Morgan, who left this world just days
before his 83rd birthday. Born on February 16, 1942, to Albert "Jack" Morgan and Johnnie Allison,
Ronnie lived a life full of passion, perseverance, and love.
A devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Ronnie is survived by his son, Chris Morgan, and
daughter-in-law, Jennifer Morgan-Wilbanks. He was a proud grandfather to Kennedy Morgan (wife
Elizabeth), Alexander Morgan (wife Martha), Madison Morgan, Caden Morgan, and Tristan Morgan. His
love and legacy continue through his great-grandchildren, Liam Morgan and Harrison Morgan. He is also
remembered by his brothers, Richard Morgan and Donald Morgan, and his former wife, Carol Morgan.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Albert "Jack" Morgan; his mother, Johnnie Allison; and his
beloved son, David Wayne Morgan.
Ronnie was a man of determination and dedication, traits that were evident in his love for marathon
running. A passionate athlete, he accomplished the incredible feat of running the Boston Marathon, a
testament to his perseverance and spirit. He was also an avid golfer, spending many cherished hours on
the green. Beyond sports, he had a deep appreciation for history and craftsmanship, reflected in his
impressive gun collection.
Those who knew Ronnie will remember his unwavering spirit, his love for the outdoors, and the strength
and kindness he shared with his family and friends. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who
loved him.
A service in honor of Ronnie's life will be held at First Baptist Church, located at 7500 Fairmont
Parkway, Pasadena, Texas 77505, on February 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
May he rest in peace, reunited with his loved ones, and forever remembered by those who cherish his
memory.
