Ronnie Lamar “Maddog” Thomas, age 69 of Plainville, GA, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at AdventHealth Gordon.
Ronnie was born on July 4, 1953 in Calhoun, GA, son of the late Dewey Thomas and Dixie Sue West Thomas. Ronnie was a master carpenter and furniture builder. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He was a member of Plainview Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert Boyd “Goober” Thomas.
Ronnie is survived by: his son, Rodney Thomas and his wife Crystal; five siblings, Randy Thomas, Elaine Love and her husband Mickey, Sue Edwards and her husband Bill, Wesley Thomas and his wife Rebecca, and Jerrell Thomas and his wife Tina; and the mother of his son, Pat Thomas.
His wishes were to be cremated and the family will have a private service at a later date.
