Ronnie Herman Timms, born on March 27, 1955, in Calhoun, GA passed away Tuesday night, March 4, 2025, at Gordon Health and Rehabilitation in Calhoun, GA.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father and mother, Reverand Herman Timms and Carolyn Timms, as well as his biological mother, Lora Lea Timms
Ronnie is survived by one brother and three sisters, Joel Timms and his wife Cindy Timms of Pulaski, TN, Phyllis Bunch and her husband Randy Bunch of Acworth, GA, Vickey Blalock and her husband David Blalock of Ranger, GA, and Stephanie Lee and her husband Richard Lee of Calhoun, GA; nephews and nieces, Matthew and Crystal Sergent of Auburn, GA, Caleb Bunch of Woodstock, GA, Patrick and Dana Timms of Petersburg, TN, David Timms of Pulaski, TN, Timothy Lee of Calhoun, GA, Kyra and Paul Burch of Rydal, GA, Ashley and Richard Henry of Marietta, GA, Deanna Lee of Fort Oglethorpe, GA and Katelynn Lee of Calhoun, GA; great-nephews and nieces, Clayton Burch and Gabe Burch, of Rydal, Ga Ayden Sergent, Connor Sergent, Eli Sergent of Auburn, Ga, Michayla Burch of Rydal, Ga, Charlotte Henry of Marietta, Ga. Ronnie is also survived by many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
During his life Ronnie was a mechanic for Gold Kist, as well as a heavy machine operator for GA Department of Transportation and was an avid sportsman. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and everything outdoors, often going on hunting trips with his brother Joel.
After a tragic motorcycle accident in 1979, Ronnie moved back home and became a faithful member of Crane Eater Church of God, where he was loved by everyone. He later became a member of College Street Church of God and the church choir. He most recently resided in Gordon Health and Rehabilitation of Calhoun, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Ronnie Herman Timms.
