Mr. Ronnie Turner, 63, of Twin City, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023, at his residence following a brief illness.
Mr. Turner was born February 15, 1960, in Swainsboro, GA. to Edward Johnson Turner and Jeanette Newman Turner. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette and brothers; Ray Turner and Edward Turner.
He loved hunting, fishing, cooking and farming. Mr. Turner loved working with his cows. He enjoyed western movies, his favorite being Gunsmoke. His favorite saying, "It'll be alright." Mr. Turner loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his father, Johnson Turner of Canoochee; wife, Connie Johnson Turner; sons, Clint (Natalie) Turner and Chad (Marlee) Turner, both of Metter; grandchildren, Waylan Turner, Ollie Turner and Jax Turner; brother, Kelvin (Michele) Turner of Canoochee; sisters, Connie (Richard) Ferguson of Savannah, and Suzette (Neil) Clay of Canoochee; several family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Canoochee Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Wiggins officiating.
Interment will follow at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1st, 2023 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are James Clay, Evan Clay, Nathan Turner, Clay Johnson, Chase Johnson, Blake Marsh, Brannon Bush and Nicholas Johnson.
