Ronny Killingsworth Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 16, 2025.
Ronny Killingsworth, 76, sadly left our world on July 7, 2025, peacefully at his home in Fort Myers, FL. He was born to Herbert and Mabel (Noland) Killingsworth on February 10,1949 at Falls City, Nebraska.
Ron graduated from Falls City High School in 1967. He continued his education and graduated from Kansas City Kansas Community College. He then worked as a cardiovascular technician until he retired in Florida in 2006.
He was a veteran of the US Navy and stoically served a tour as a Corpsman with the US Marines in Vietnam. Even while coping with lifelong effects of Agent Orange exposure, Ron was proud to be an American and all it stood for.
Ron was a kind man with great manners. He had the best hand hold. His contagious smile could light a room. He loved fishing, especially the Midwest rivers for big catfish and trout fishing. He loved football and cheered on his favorite team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He had an ornery sense of humor and could make anyone laugh with his one-liners. He never outgrew his love for toys.
Ron is survived by his wife of 50 years, Robbin; son, Brendon (Tanya) Killingsworth of Cape Coral, FL; daughter, Meggan (Joe) Donham of Hutchinson, KS; daughter, Kelly (Allen) Roepka of Hutchinson, KS; son, Ryan (Ashley) Killingsworth of Shawnee, KS; brother, Robert (Debbie) Killingsworth of Overland Park, KS; brother, Kevin (Karen) Killingsworth of Fremont, NE; sister-in-law, Harriet Killingsworth of Stillwell, KS; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren along with other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Killingsworth.
A celebration of life will be held in Kansas City this fall.
