Roosevelt Winstead Obituary
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 1:00PM at the Red Oak Grove Baptist Church with Dr. J.B. Woodhouse Officiating. Interment will follow in the Winstead Family Cemetery in Elm City. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00-1:00PM, with the Family being present at 12:30PM.
He leaves to cherish his lasting loving memories to his devoted and loving wife, Georgia H. Winstead of the home; four daughters, Arquilla (James) Joyner of Harlem, New York, Cynthia (Darren) Pierce of Wilson NC, Lisa (Cornell) Stokes of Garner NC, Sherri (Tyron) Bryant Elm City, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren (one on the way), one sister Annette Davis; two sisters-in-law, Wynette Milliner and Marian Jones, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A very special cousin Ronald Harris; a host of other relatives and friends.
