Rosa Bailey Obituary
Entombment will be held in Saint Edward Catholic Church Mausoleum (Dale Street) in New Iberia, LA following the Mass.
The visitation will be held at Saint Edward Catholic Church on Saturday, December 20, 2025, beginning at 7:30 A.M. until 9:45 A.M.
Rosa Willrey Bailey was a resident of New Iberia, Louisiana. She departed this life on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 6:27 P.M. at her residence.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Jennifer Provost (Edward) of New Iberia, LA; Terri D. Francis (Ron), and Barbara Dominique of Loreauville, LA; four sons, Joseph Broussard, Sr., Barry Dominique (Beverly), Peter Dominique (Heather) all of New Iberia, LA and Gerald Dominique (Gloria Ann) of Jeanerette, LA; thirty-nine grandchildren; seventy-three great- grandchildren; special nieces, Carolyn Alfred, Gail Owens, Brenda Malveaux, Ann Bailey, and Rose Fremin; special nephew, Alex Willery and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Bailey, Sr.; parents, Alex Willrey and Virginia Settler Willrey; sons, Glenn Dominique, David "Chip" Dominique, and Albert Dominick; two brothers, Roosevelt Willrey and James Willrey and one sister, Louise Davis.
The family of Mrs. Rosa Willrey Bailey extends Special Thanks to Hope Hospice (Melody, Lynell, and Julie) and Renee Anthony, Eucharistic Minister.
Active Pallbearers will be Terroni Dominick, Toby Dominick, Terrance Dominick, Promis Dominique Perfect Dominique, Roderick Dominick, and Jamal Layne.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Joseph Broussard, Sr., Barry Dominique, Peter Dominique, Gerald Dominique, Edward Provost, and Ron Francis.
