Rosa Maria Hernandez, age 46, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born November 11, 1977, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she was the beloved daughter of Tammy Sharp and Elias Ramos. She married the love of her life, Pastor Juan Carlos Hernandez, on August 4, 2006. Rosa was a woman of faith, who loved singing for God, cooking for her family, and giving gifts to her loved ones. She lived a very happy life, and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, whom she loved immensely. Rosa always did everything she could to make sure her loved ones were happy. She will be remembered as a child of God, that spread the love of Christ to everyone she met. Rosa is survived by her six children, Jessica Jimenez; Ilse Tilley and spouse Jace Tilley; Leslie Jimenez; Jair Hernandez; Ezzer Hernandez; and Jaziel Hernandez; two grandchildren; her parents, Tammy Sharp and Elias Ramos; her grandmother, Maria Marquez; and her siblings, Estela, Joshua, Dania, and Marilu.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at The Pentecostal Church (TPC), located at 3700 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, AR 72904. A Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, also at The Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow the Visitation at Forest Park Cemetery, located at 5001 Midland Blvd, Fort Smith, AR 72904.
