It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosa Linda Roel age 82 of San Antonio.

Rosa's courageous battle with cancer came to an end, when her Lord and Savior came to take her home on Saturday, February 28, 2026. She was surrounded by her loved ones.

She was a loving mother and Nana, who was known for her nurturing spirit, her unwavering faith in God and his plan. She was a kind, caring giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She as a strong women who faced every challenge with courage and dignity, a true warrior. She was a source of inspiration. She loved to crochet and read her bible daily. Her acts of kindness and compassion touched many lives. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her boundless love will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother Susie Martinez and father Homer Martinez; her sisters Mary Antoinette Gonzales, Mayme Aguayo and brother Jesse Martinez.

She is survived by her children; Yvette Roel, Jesse Roel Jr. his wife Ruby, and Rebecca Vowell; her grandchildren; Desiree and Jules, Devyn her husband Michael, Alexis and Corey, Delilah, Robert, Joseph; her sisters; Anna Solis her husband Onesimo, Helen Barker, Norma Casias her husband Johnny and Barbara Benedetto. Along with many other family and friends.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate Rosa's life will be held on

Friday, March 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM at

Mission Park Funeral Chapels Dominion
