Rosaleen “RoRo” Brady Meyerhoff, age 90, of Conneaut Lake, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025. We remember her kindness, beautiful voice and her sharp Irish wit.
Rosaleen was born in a house called Rosary Gardens on May 27, 1935, in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, Ireland, where she lived with her family, The Brady’s, until 1960. Rosaleen immigrated to the United States, where she settled in Queens, New York. In 1964, she met a Navy Corpsman named John Meyerhoff at a party. At first sight of Rosaleen, John confided in his friend his intention to marry her. They were indeed married on August 27, 1966.
Rosaleen and John had two children, Anne in 1967 in Guam, Marianas Islands, South Pacific, (USA). Sean was born in 1970, in USNA Annapolis, Maryland. Sean was born on Annie’s third birthday. They traveled the world, landing on Naval Bases all over the world. In 1979 John retired from the Navy and the family settled in Grove City, Pennsylvania, where Rosaleen and John opened The Glass Studio and Gallery. Rosaleen created many beautiful stained-glass windows as well as managing the studio. On September 23, 1994, Rosaleen became an American Citizen.
In 1995 they moved to Conneaut Lake where they opened another studio in an antique schoolhouse, Meyerhoff Art Glass, where Rosaleen and John made even more beautiful windows. Rosaleen became active in Our Lady Queen of Americas Catholic Church in Conneaut Lake. A lifelong singer, she became a part of the OLQA Choir, where she enjoyed many years of friendship. She was a cantor and volunteered with The Samaritans.
Rosaleen is survived by her beloved husband of John Meyerhoff, her daughter, Annie Meyerhoff Fuller; her son, Sean Meyerhoff; her sister, Brigid “Queenie” Byrne; and a granddaughter, Brigid Fuller.
