Rosalie Dillon Beaulieu

Rosalie Dillon Beaulieu, transitioned beautifully on her birthday, Friday, May 16, 2025. Life truly came full circle. Rosalie was born May 16, 1942, in New Orleans, LA. Rosalie blessed the family as the fourth child (third) daughter of Samuel Dillon, Sr. and Ethel Mae Williams Dillon. She graduated from Booker T. Washington H. S. Her employment included over 15 years with the Orleans Parish School System and another 15 years with The Baptist Theological Seminary, from which she retired. Rosalie was a member of St. Raymond C. C. before the joining together of the Churches that is now St. Raymond/ St. Leo. Rosalie and her husband, Dale Paul Beaulieu, Sr., brought forth three children together, Dale Paul Beaulieu, J.r, Shenna Beaulieu-Lasker (Roland, Sr.), Amanda Beaulieu-Smart (John, Sr.), seven grandchildren: Shanquelle Ghoram, Eli Taylor, Hannah Lasker-Jimenez, Roland Lasker, Jr., Leland Lasker (Larena), Johnna Smart, John Smart Jr, and 10 great grandchildren Bern, as she was affectionately called by her siblings was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Ethel Dillon, her husband, Dale Paul Beaulieu Sr, and three siblings, Johnnie Dillon (Louella), Katie Dillon, and Samuel Dillon Jr (Leah). In addition to her children, Rosalie leaves to cherish her memories, her sisters Ethel Mae Bunch (New Orleans, Louisiana) and Audrey Dillon-Brown (San Diego California), a host of nieces and nephews to whom she made feel very special and loved. She will be greatly missed. Family and friends are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, for 10:00 a.m. at St. Raymond/St. Leo C. C., 2916 Paris Ave., New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Fr. Stanley K. Thuoma, SSJ. Officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, NOLA.
