Rosalie A. Hackman, age 85, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Robert Hackman for 61 wonderful years. Loving mother of Robert (Nancy) Hackman, Richard (Jennifer) Hackman, Russell (Susan) Hackman, Ronald (Darlene) Hackman, and Renee (Greg) Fabian. Proud grandmother of Robert Hackman, Sue Ellen (fiancé Sam) Hackman, Richard (Shawn) Hackman, Jordan (Tim) Wolanski, Zachary Hackman, Russell (Kristy) Hackman, Daniel (Kari) Hackman, the late Danielle Hackman and Dominique Hackman, Jessie (Steve) McDougall, Justin (Tracie) Hackman, Ron (Danielle) Hackman, Thomas (Emily) Fabian, Amber (Matt) Presbey, Ashley (fiancé Luke) Fabian, and Gregory (fiancée Ashley) Fabian. Cherished great-grandmother of 22.

Rosalie was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She worked for many years at the Bank of Commerce, later at Kmart, and also at IGA Grocery Store before retiring. Rosalie was devoted to her family-her children and grandchildren were truly the joy of her life.

She and her husband Robert shared a love for travel and adventure, often visiting Las Vegas, taking cruises, and enjoying scenic train rides through Michigan's Upper Peninsula to admire the fall colors.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 2:00pm to 8:00pm, with a Rosary at 7:00pm at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. Fifteen Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 10:30am with Instate at 10:00am at St. Mary Queen of Creation Catholic Church, 50931 Maria, New Baltimore, MI.

Rosalie will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the deep love she gave to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
