Rosalie grew up in Parma and attended St Francis High School were she played on the basketball team. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was happily married for 64 years and was seldom apart from Frank. She was truly the matriarch of her family and enjoyed hosting holiday dinners as well as the family's Sunday get togethers. She loved watching sports on T.V., and cared for her family, friends, and the community as a beautician for over 40 years. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ronald Kupiec.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Frank Alexander Salerno; children, Frank A. Salerno (Patricia), and Michelle M. Salerno; beloved grandmother, Marissa Martin, Andrew (Amoreena) Martin, John A. Martin, Jr., Sydney Salerno (Matt Sievers), Max Salerno, and Frank A. (Christina) Salerno; great grandchildren, Cole & Chase Martin, Faith Gillespie, Magdalene Salerno, and Rowan & Rosalie Martin; brother, Andrew Kupiec (Carole); and many wonderful nieces and nephews, Josephine Carlyn, Tina Dawson, Angela Dawson, Randi Kupiec, Traci Nelson, Ronald Kupiec, Scott Salerno, Vince Salerno, Aeron Kopivniak, and Candice Bareme along with a lifetime of collected friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, OH.; with a time of sharing at 6:00 p.m. and the Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m., Fr. Curits Kondik, officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Rosalie's memory be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or online at www.stjude.org.
