Rosalind Janice McCoy, lovingly known as Janice, was born on August 28, 1953, and entered her heavenly home on September 30, 2025, at the age of 72.

Janice was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Martin; her parents, William and Wynnell Herd; and her sisters, Carolyn, Hazel, and Clara.

She is survived by her children: Billy Martin, Wendy Hannah (Brian), Bobby Martin (Mandy), and Josh McCoy (Jessa); her beloved grandchildren: Brittni, Erica, Logan, Brianna, Lane, Haley, Lauren, Macie, and Morgan; and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty Joyce Sellers and Barbara Jo Files, along with many nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.

Janice was a faithful and dedicated member of Cottondale Baptist Church for many years. She was also a proud and hardworking employee of Magnolia Clipping Service. Known for her gift of storytelling and her love of being surrounded by friends and family, Janice touched countless lives with her warmth, humor, and kindness.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning two hours prior to the service with Rev. Dan Arsenault and Dr. David Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery. Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel will be directing the services.

Pallbearers will be Josh Weaver, Austin Skelton, Logan Martin, Paul Pierce, Jimmy Pierce, and Timmy Pierce.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of Magnolia Clipping Service and the classmates of Tuscaloosa High School.

Janice's legacy of faith, love, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
