Rose Baker of Mozelle, KY passed away on February 1, 2025 at her residence in Leslie County. Rose was born on October 1, 1960 in Hyden the daughter of the late, Lige Baker and Mary Lewis Baker. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and reading.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Lige and Mary Baker, one daughter, Jennifer Lumpkins, one sister, Marlyn Baker Simpson, two brothers, Steve Baker and Marvin Baker, one niece Katrina Gail Baker and one great nephew, Wesley Simpson.
She leaves the following relatives surviving; one son, Johnnie Baker, one daughter, Mary Ann Leonard, three brothers, Mark Baker, Daniel Baker and Manuel Baker, beloved granddaughter, Marlyn Lumpkins Melton (Justin); beloved grandson, Devan Baker, great grandson, Xavier Melton; special nieces, Natasha Griffitts, Tiffany Simpson and Deanna and Travis Collins and a host of beloved nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews other relatives & friends survive.
Funeral: Friday, February 14, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lower Beechfork United Methodist Church, Mozelle, KY.
Minister: David Woods
Interment: Owl's Nest Cemetery, Hyden, KY.
Visitation: Friday, Feb. 14th at 11:00 A.M. at the Church
