Princeton, NJ
Rose Bongo, 98 years old of Princeton, NJ passed away on Wednesday, January 14th.
Born in Newark, NJ on August 16, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Massimo and Mary (Rinaldi) Cornacchio.
Rose was employed by Data Teck Institute in Clifton, NJ before retiring in 1992. She was previously employed as an aide at School #7 in Belleville, NJ for 18 years. Rose and her husband, Michael resided in Belleville for 42 years before retiring to Easton, PA in 2006.
Rose was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Nutley and St. Rocco's Roman Catholic Church in Martins Creek, PA.
Rose is survived by her beloved daughters, Lucianne Smith and Lisa Postiglione and 4 grandchildren, Marissa Smith (Greg Riggio), Tyler Postiglione, Jessica Smith and Grace Postiglione (John Welch). Of course we can't forget her love for her grandpuppy, Molly.
A private committal service will be held at a later date.
