Rose Anna Brock, a beloved homemaker and caregiver, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, at her cherished residence on Bigelow Road in Bledsoe, Kentucky. Born on January 15, 1954, in the quaint town of Beverly, Kentucky, she illuminated the lives of those around her with a warm smile and a heart full of compassion.
Throughout her life, Rose found joy in the splendid simplicity of day-to-day existence. Affiliated with the Baptist faith, she drew strength and solace from her beliefs, nurturing her spirit and that of her family. As a devoted homemaker, Rose dedicated herself to her home and family, serving as a beacon of support and love. While she poured her heart into caregiving, she also found time to revel in hobbies that echoed her vibrant spirit. Whether playing cards with friends, tending to her flower garden, or pitching horseshoes in the embrace of the great outdoors, each moment was a testament to her zest for life. The springtime brought her particular joy as she delighted in watching hummingbirds flit from flower to flower, each iridescent visitor a tiny reminder of the beauty that surrounded her.
Family was the cornerstone of Rose's existence. She is survived by her loving son, Denver Lee "Tojo" Brock, and his wife Michelle of Bledsoe, Kentucky; two devoted daughters, Jeanine Bullock and her husband Tim of Dayton, Ohio, and Ginger Caldwell and her husband Jerry of Bledsoe. The legacy of love she cultivated continues through her six grandchildren—LaMecia Morgan and Josh, Jessica Storm Madden and Tony, Carl "C.J." Gross and Kayla, Charlie Brock and Emily, Kylie Howard, and Jaxxon Manning—as well as her ten great-grandchildren: Maverick Morgan, Pheonix Morgan, Jude Madden, Milo Madden, Emmett Madden, Willow Rose Madden, Isabella "Izzy" Brock, Greyson Brock, Violet Brock, Raylan Brock & special nephew, Johnny Ray Smith. These cherished individuals were the lights of her life, and she took immense pride in the time spent with them.
Rose joins her dearly departed parents, Johnny and Mossie Hoskins, and her brothers Lee, Ervin, Bobby, and Roger Hoskins, along with her sisters Eunice Hoskins, Grace "Gracie" Gross, Hannah Asher, Armilda "Mildie" Smith, & dear friend, Ozella Romaine Smith. Her friendships were equally precious, with her lifelong friend, Cathy Nantz standing by her side during many cherished moments.
In remembrance of Rose Anna Brock, we honor a woman whose love knew no bounds, whose laughter echoed through family gatherings, and whose spirit of kindness will forever inspire those who were fortunate to know her. In every flower that blooms in her garden, in every card played, and in the tender moments shared with friends and family, her memory will live on, a beautiful tribute to a life well-lived.
Memorial Service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. -Sunday, November 30, 2025 at the Bowens Creek Baptist Church at Essie, KY with Andy Lewis and Cleveland Nolan officiating.
