Rose Marie Easter, age 37, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. She was born in Erie, a daughter of Jerry Corder, and the late Sherry Ann Evans.
Rose enjoyed cooking, traveling the countryside while taking in all of God’s beautiful creation, Rose also adored spending time with family and being a mother to her 2 wonderful sons. Being a daughter to her great father and spending time side by side with her husband assisting him in his real estate business. Rose spoke fluently in 2 languages Hispanic and English and was a very talented translator when she was called upon. Rose looked forward to November 2024 where she was going to meet her newborn granddaughter to become a grandmother for the first time
Rose is survived by her husband John Easter Jr. by her children Daiquan Torres (Kylie Slupski), Rayquan Torres, and her father Jerry Corder (Myrtha Garcia). She is further survived by her siblings, Andrew Freeman (Martha Freeman), Rather Freeman (Telisa Freeman), Marie Freeman, and Alisha Myles (Earl Myles), She is survived by her stepsisters, Johanna, Jane Mary, and Jomaira Quinones, and stepbrother Jose Quinones. Rose is survived by her aunts Annie Corder, Chestine Corder, and Shiela Russell, and by her uncle James Corder. She is survived by her stepchildren, John III, Jordan, Jermaine, and Jacob Easter, and by Aaliyah and Mya Rogers, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her sister Lucky Freeman.
Friends are invited to call on the family Friday, June 28, 2024, from 10:00 am. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon at The Abundant Life Church of Erie, 2247 East 19th Street Erie PA 16510 Apostle Kevin F Nelson. Officiating the service will be Pastor Daryl Craig of The House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church. Burial to follow in Erie Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10th Street, Erie.
