Rose Marie (Blosser) Kerns, 83, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Genesis Center in Fairmont. She was born October 4, 1942 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Wayne and Elsie (Johnson) Blosser.
She had attended Living By Faith Church and worked in the Radiology Department at Ruby Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a dog lover, enjoyed playing bingo, and loved to watch and feed the birds. Her favorite thing was spending time with her family on the front porch.
She is survived by her son, Alan Kerns and his wife Nacole; sister, Karen Blosser Adams; son-in-law, James Hilling; and Vicki Bewak.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Judith Lee Hilling, Gerald Lee Kerns, Jr., and Adam Wayne Kerns; siblings, Lawrence Gaye Blosser, Dallas “Sonny” Wayne Blosser, Edward Paul Blosser, Leoda Mae Blosser, and Dana Eileen Blosser; and companion, Norman Corbin.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St. Morgantown on Wednesday, January 14th from 3-7 and Thursday, January 15th from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
