Rose Ann LaBouve, 84, of Greenville, MS peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on July 31, 2025 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS surrounded by family.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 7th at 3:00pm at Mortimer Funeral Home, Greenville, MS with Brother Chris Vowell officiating. Visitation will be at 2:00pm.
Rose was born to the late Percy Calvin Palmertree and Fannie Brown Palmertree on August 12, 1940 in Greenwood, MS where she was one of four children. Rose later moved to Greenville, MS with her family and was a graduate of Greenville High School in 1959. Rose later met the love of her life, James Edward LaBouve, and together they celebrated 59 years of marriage. They were faithful members of First Baptist Church, Greenville, MS, where they actively served and raised their children. Her family was important to her as she was a devoted wife and mother.
Rose was better known in the community as the helpmate to her husband, Jack, in the family owned Pizza Inn of Greenville. It was here, too, that Christian values were set for a successful turnaround of this establishment and became a family friendly environment for all. Rose, Jack and her children enjoyed serving the families of the community. She was a devoted wife and was preceded in death by her husband, James E. LaBouve. Rose had 3 siblings and was preceded in death by her sister Irene Palmertree Beach, her brother Billy Glenn Palmertree, Sr (Barbara), and brother Percy Palmertree, Jr. She was preceded in death by a special daughter Jacquelyn Darlene LaBouve. Rose is survived by her daughter Diane LaBouve Kelly (Wes) and her son Steven Pierre LaBouve
(Mollie). Also her loving grandchildren Brittany Oltremari Knoll (David), Brooke Oltremari Holmes (Brandon), Kellianne LaBouve Jordan (Eli), and Hope Burciaga and 1 sweet great grandson, along with a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation as Rose was a 20 year breast cancer survivor. The family would like to thank everyone for all the outpouring of love, thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. It means the world to us She will live on in our hearts forever.
